First Monday in October

The first Monday in October is an important day for appellate nerds. Today, the Supreme Court of the United States begins a new term. Court watchers are excited about the cases that the Court will hear and constantly debate the significance of each. To mark the occasion, the Alliance for Justice has released a new film titled “Unequal Justice: The Relentless Rise of the 1% Court.” The film examines how recent court decision have stripped the rights of individuals and have favored corporations.
